cool summer camps.

aviation flying. I write for this terrific magazine.
"Pilot Getaways" magazine - Not only will this exciting magazine help you find exciting flying destinations, but left in sight on the coffee table it will inspire friends and family to join you.
Rod
Machado's page - What can I say? We all know that Rod's the greatest
aviation guru with a dose of humor to help what you learn go down.
Student
Pilot Network - Excellent and friendly online resource for new and
aspiring pilots.
Miscellaneous resources
PilotShareTheRide.com My buddy, Baldy Ivy, has put together a terrific free website where you can hitch a ride with another pilot, find expense-sharing pilots and passengers, seek mentors, safety pilots for IFR practice, and much more. It’s a great place for meeting other pilots to share flying and expenses.
Doug Stewart Flight Instruction, Inc. If you're one of the many instrument-rated pilots who craves more actual IFR experience, join Master Instructor Doug Stewart on one of his IFR New England trips.
Aviation Digital Data Service - This terrific experimental aviation weather site from the FAA is illustrated with new types of weather graphics. Weather has never been pictured more clearly anywhere.
Rhinebeck Aerodrome - When's the last time you saw a 1914 aeroplane fly? Rhinebeck Aerodrome is an incredible place where World War I and earlier aeroplanes fly in an adventure show. If upstate New York is not in your immediate travel plans, order the "Cole Palen's Flying Circus" video -- it's dynamite! The website includes free online videos of early aeroplanes flying.
Double
Eagle Aviation - Accelerated pilot training in the sunny skies of southern
Arizona. How's an instrument rating in less than ten days sound? They
do hundreds per year.
Westwind School of Aeronautics - Excellent pilot training in Phoenix Arizona.
SkyVector.com - A really cool site featuring online Sectional charts and interactive METAR weather reports for the whole US.
Products
Monroy
Air Traffic Detector - An affordable portable traffic detector for
GA aircraft. I have one and it really works.
Pilot
Logbook and Journal - Terrific logbook that incorporates personal journal
pages for recording your flight experiences.
